More information about the Cal Student Orientation (CalSO) Program will be posted after the admissions notification date, March 29, 2012. After you've been admitted, you'll be able to sign yourself and your parents or guests up for an overnight orientation (for frosh) or a day-long program (for transfers).
Orientations for fall admits begin in early June and run through mid-July, and programs are held for spring admits in late October and early November. CalSO is a great opportunity to discover more about your new campus, learn about resources for academic and personal success, and make some new friends before classes begin. Fall admits will also have the opportunity to sign up for their first 10.5 units of coursework.
